WBA1 will help feed seed eating birds, especially where there are few remaining food sources.
- It will also provide shelter for birds and mammals.
- The seed may be sown in blocks or strips to aid weed control and we suggest rotating the sown areas to clean ground to avoid the build up of weeds and disease.
- A combination of species that will establish and mature to provide feed in the autumn of the year after sowing.
- The cereal provides a climbing frame for the Vetch in the mix to prevent excess lodging.
